A BIT ABOUT ME

My name is Celeste and I have been a part of the healing community since 2011 when I started my journey into the world of wellness, health and beauty. During my  time as a student in South Florida, I was introduced to the ancient science of Ayurveda, the healing system from India that has existed for over 5000 years.

I immediately fell in love with the practices, teachings and philosophy of Ayurveda. In 2012 I took a position as an esthetician at JothiVita, the first Ayurvedic Center in Hollywod, FL and in 2013 I became the lead massage therapist of that establishment. This latter role gave me the opportunity and honor to train new therapists in the art of ayurvedic massage, specialty treatments, Panchakarma (ayurvedic detoxification) and the preparation of specific herbal oil blends for massage services and medicine. At the same time, I dove into the practices of Yoga and Meditation as well as mantra chanting, activities that helped me assimilate healing processes within myself, and made me a well rounded holistic therapist.

I've had the honor of being a part of the Aveda Institute Denver faculty from 2017 to 2023 in the role of skincare and massage therapy educator. I feel absolutely grateful to have had the opportunity to share with students the benefits that massage therapy, ayurveda, and a healthy lifestyle can bring into people’s life.

In 2022 I was blessed to complete a degree on Ayurveda and integrative medicine with a focus on meditation and higher states of consciousness from Maharishi International University, knowledge that has catapulted me deeper into Ayurvedic wisdom and connection with inner intelligence. There is nothing I want more than to share this ancient knowledge with anyone who wants it.

My purpose is to be a conduit for knowledge, love and healing, passing onto my students and patients the empowerment that is embodied when we pursue and achieve a better quality of life through the mind-body-spirit experience that bodywork and Ayurveda have to offer.

About: Welcome

Ayurveda is the complete healing system from India that was given to the old sages and meditators of that land over 5000 years ago.  The premise of this science rests on the belief that the Universe is part of us and we are part of the Universe; everyone holds a Universe within. With this knowledge it is understood that in order to achieve the highest level of good health, people have to find a way to be in balance with their world within, and without. This balance is found when the connection with Self is achieved.

According to Ayurveda, we are all born with a unique and perfect (for each person) mind-body constitution, also called Prakriti. As we grow and develop, we are effected by the world around us, for example: The way we are raised, the foods we intake and the activities we take part on. All these "outside" effectors that many times do not fit in with the person's mind body constitution can create imbalances that can have repercussions (physical, physiological, mental and spiritual) on day to day life. The imbalance a person presents is called Vikruti. Through a cohesive mixture of diet, herbal supplements, body treatments, meditation and lifestyle adjustments, Ayurveda aims to return people into a state of most balance, so that we can enjoy a better, more fulfilling quality of life.

Here at Corazón Wellness we have the intention of helping you achieve that balance through the treatments and services we provide. We can receive so much information about life, health and decisions based on what our body tells us, if we are willing to listen. And then, it is up to us whether we make the changes necessary to achieve the goal of wellbeing. We want to empower you to do that.

We are the only wellness boutique in the Denver area that provides ayurvedic consultations AND ayurvedic body treatments including shirodhara, abhyanga, sound healing, and chakra balancing. We also offer personalized meditation guidance either through our self-paced online course or our mālā crafting and meditation teaching service.

About: Welcome

CST is a gentle modality of bodywork with a main focus of reducing tone in the nervous system. When we are on “rest and digest” is when our bodies can work best; CST aims to help the body enter that state (turning on the parasympathetic system).
CST can also help people who suffer from chronic headaches, sinus issues, TMJS, anxiety, or general tissue restriction throughout the body.
At a much deeper level, and when the treatment and inner intelligence of the patient goes there, CST aims to help people self-realize. This means, connecting with the emotional component of the physical restriction, figure out what that part of self needs, and finding resolution.
